2014 Highlights



We rounded off 2014 filming a tour of the Emergency Services Training Centre in Beckton, covering the state-of-the-art real fire, Urban Search & Rescue, Incident Command and other facilities.

Further December projects included filming interviews & presentations at the Environmental Industries Commission conference in London and a CEO's Christmas video message to employees.



In November we filmed interviews all over the country with Wates staff who had nominated colleagues for the Chairman's Awards. We also shot another quarterly update with CEO Andrew Davies.

Other projects included video interviews with architects for a 2015 London infrastructure event. We also recorded a number of additional voiceovers for fighfighter training packages.



October brought the first bit of music filming in a while, but it was worth the wait! We helped the amazing AshTV filming Ginger Wildheart's Halloween Hootenanny in Wolverhampton, featuring 6 great bands.

We also shot the introduction for the Wates equality & diversity programme and worked with Seesaw again on video interviews at the BMF Members Day and Awards Dinner.



During September we shot footage for a video to promote a national automotive apprenticeship programme, as well as two internal communications videos for Wates, and interviews including Lord Simon Wolfson, CEO of Next plc.

We also rebranded some animations that we made earlier in the year and worked with Milestone on the launch video for a global car dealership initiative.



August's projects included a customer service training video for automotive bodyshops and an intro video for a major vehicle finance white label pitch presentation.

We also shot a series of talking heads with Wates directors for their Supply Chain Awards event, and a business update & incentice launch video to be played to distributors at photokina, the world's largest photography equiment show.



This month we shot the last of the firefighter training videos to go into the computer-based training packages, which has been a really interesting and informative project!

We also worked with our friends at Seesaw on another animated advert for Waterloo and Euston stations, this time focussed on the new HMS Queen Elizabeth aircraft carrier. We have also bought some new cameras this month that we can't wait to use!



In June we filmed the Base London and Runways UK conferences and more interviews at Guildhall in London for ACO, plus a case study of their innovative sustainable drainage scheme at a new ASDA in Leicester.

We also shot Patrick Bird & Jennifer Baker's talks at an IGD Leading Edge event in London, a Ferrari experience for Club Le Mons and Make-A-Wish, and worked on the 3D visualisation of a new firefighter training facility.



During May we filmed the ACE Conference and Engineering Excellence Awards in London for drainage specialists ACO, including interviews with Lord Heseltine and many others.

We also filmed the Broker 200 charity karting event, a video explaining Abingdon's BID proposal, the launch of Osborne's new branding and made an animation for Counterpoint's Licence Maestro software.



This month we made an animation for Counterpoint showcasing their Media Maestro software, to be displayed at the huge NAB Show in Las Vegas.

We also filmed Wates Chief Executive Andrew Davies reflecting on his first 90 days with the business and a piece for the CBI with Wates Living Space MD Andy Hobart.

More firefighter training footage was also shot for the CBT packages.



In March we filmed an Automotive Apprenticeship Challenge, featuring apprentices from brands such as VW, Audi, BMW, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Skoda and John Deere.

We also shot a video around the North West for use in a construction tender, a to-camera piece with the CEO of a new client, a number of colleague talking heads, and an instructional video on how to apply paint protection film to a vehicle.



February's projects included the first of a series of animated web banners in partnership with our friends at Seesaw Marketing.

We also started work on firefighter training videos for use in a Computer Based Training package and visited the BVE Show in London where we won a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera on the Prokit stand - Can't wait to start using it, thanks guys!



2014 Got off to a busy start with a week of filming training videos for use in car dealerships. The videos covered the whole sales process from welcoming the customer into the showroom, fact finding and qualification, presenting the vehicle, the demonstration drive and follow up.

We also filmed the Wates annual Roadshow event and a to-camera video message from new Chief Executive Andrew Davies.
